Essential questions

What forces shaped the land of Great Britain and how is that reflected in the landscape and the ways the land is used today? Your editor is espcially interested in fossils in the north of the country and the growing interest in Doggerland.

Special instructions

It's deadline time! You work for a newspaper and your editor needs to fill a small hole in the next two editions. They want to do some pieces about Great Britain, and they have assigned you to do it. You will select one question from each category listed below. You will then create a newspaper article about each question you chose.

  • Each article needs to be about 250 words long and provide a clear concise answer to the question.
  • Your article also needs to include a photo with a caption. (You can link the photo to your article.)
  • Plagiarism rules apply.
  • If you want to come up with your own selection, talk to your editor - Mr. Robbins.
  • This assignment is to be typed - after all, this is a newspaper.
