What is Brexit? How does it affect life in the United Kingdom and Europe?

 

 

 

Description

Life in the United Kingdom is deeply influenced by the events of WWII and it aftermath. For this Packet we will look at those effects. We will also observe and record what is happening in and around the UK government.

Objectives

  • Students will identify, describe the issues behind the United Kingdom leaving the European Union (Brexit).
  • Students will identify, describe the key landforms, regions, and climate of the United Kingdom.
  • Students will create a working map of the landforms, major cities, and regions in the United Kingdom.
  • Students will identify, describe the features of the government of the United Kingdom, including Parliament, the Prime Minister, the Monarch, the House of Commons, and the House of Lords.

We will complete virtually all of this packet in class - if you pay attention and keep your note.
