Description

After all the acts and taxes and disagreements of the years following the Treaty of Paris, 1763, the shooting started in April, 1775.

What brought the colonists to armed rebellion?

How did disagreements turn to warfare?

Objectives

Students will identify and describe the changing characteristics about the British - American colonies during this time period.

Students will identify and describe the key events and people of this time period.
